Etrafon

Etrafon antipsychotic drug is a drug used to treat symptoms of psychotic disorders. Tardive dyskinesia, a syndrome consisting of potentially irreversible, involuntary, dyskinetic movements, may develop in patients treated with all antipsychotic drugs, including Etrafon. Since the risk of suffering Tardive Dyskinesia is greater in elderly patients, it is advised that any elderly that must be given Etrafon should be given it in a manner to best reduce any increased risk of Tardive Dyskinesia.
